Challenge #8 Heartfelt

Welcome to our eighth challenge here at Aurora Wings.  As the holidays are fast approaching, many take the time to reflect on the past year and count their blessings.  It is only fitting that we open our hearts and take time to give thanks for our family, our friends, the kindness of strangers, and the many wonders of our beautiful world.  Our challenge this month is Heartfelt Thanks.

Those using an Aurora Wings image may enter up to THREE times, but those of you choosing a stamps from another company must limit your entry to ONE.  And please remember, we DO need to see a hand colored digital or rubber stamp , to be eligible. 

Our prizes each month will include:

1 (one) Artist's Choice Award Winner to be selected from entries using Aurora Wings digis ($20 GC and Badge)

1 (one) Random Winner ($20 GC)

Top 3 Winners to be chosen by the DT ($10 GC and Badge)

There's still time to enter our October Special Event All Gored Up Challenge IF YOU DARE!  We don't want to scare you, well, yes we do, but we're looking for something WAY beyond the slightly spooky. Take a look at the DT inspiration and READ THE RULES.  We applaud those who have stepped WAY out of their comfort zone to participate. This challenge runs through Friday, October 31st.  And for the less adventurous, don't forget our October Colors of Halloween Contest is still going on through October 31st on our Facebook Group Page.

Entries posted prior to October 20th will be deleted. All entries must have a hand colored digital or rubber stamp on their completed project to be eligible. Please follow the chosen theme. ONE entry per person if not using an Aurora Wings image, THREE entry limit if ALL entries include an Aurora Wings stamp. You may enter your project in as many other challenges as desired. Please link to your POST address, NOT your BLOG address and link back to the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog. We would greatly appreciate you removing word verification and switching to comment moderation if you fear spam. In fairness to all, those not following the rules will be deleted. Also, because of the difficulties we have experienced with Facebook entries, I regret that we will no longer be accepting them on the Challenge Blog.  I'm so sorry, but we do have a Colors of Halloween Contest currently running on our Facebook Group page, so you are welcome to post your appropriate entries there through October 31st.  Thank you for your understanding.

October Special Event: All Gored Up

We at Aurora Wings hope you are enjoying the opportunity to dabble in the dark side with our "A Touch of Darkness Challenge" still going on through October 18th.  But now that you've dipped your toes in the brackish pond, we invite you to take the PLUNGE and swim with the BIG DOGS!!  Our "All Gored Up Challenge" is a special event, and not for the timid, mind you.  We want to see BLOOD (and guts, or whatever floats your boat).  This is your chance to really let your inner demons out and scare us to DEATH!  You may use one of the already "dark" images or bloody up one of Mitzi's more delicate ones, but creativity is a must here.  We've got some seasoned "darkies" on the team who are hard to impress.  LOL  And of course, any creations posted here will also be eligible for "A Touch of Darkness" through Oct 18th as well.  But we expect more than "A Touch" of Darkness for this special Challenge.  Do you dare?
