Challenge #71 Inspired by Music

Welcome to our 71st challenge here at Aurora Wings, hosted by the Stella Team with the exciting new theme

They say "Music speaks to the heart in ways words cannot express."  The beautiful thing is music is like a time machine.  One song... the music, the lyrics, the mood...can take you back to a moment like nothing else can.  Any music works here, a movie or TV series soundtrack, a nursery rhyme, classical or popular, with or without lyrics.  We're excited to see what inspires you.

Please remember our rules.

Challenge #70 Winners

Mitzi and the teams want to thank all of you who entered our Sketch challenge.  Although the entries were few, we so enjoyed your amazing work and creative interpretations.

Here are our fabulous winners.

The ARTIST'S CHOICE AWARD (3 images and Badge) chosen by Mitzi from among the entrants using Aurora Wings images goes to

#12 Gail Hutchinson

In Mitzi's own words,  "Gail took maybe the most direct approach to this sketch challenge by sticking very close to the design and coming up with something really special. The limited palette in muted versions of classic Christmas colors and the repetition of holly design in different sizes show off the softness and the sweet innocence of the colored image beautifully."

The Random Winner (3 images) goes to

And the Top 3 (1 image and Badge) in numerical order as they appeared in the challenge, chosen by the Design Team from ALL the entries goes to

#10 Chris

#15 Nicola

#17 Rose

A huge Congratulations to our fabulous winners! Please e-mail Mitzi at studiomiyabi (at) aol (dot) com, with subject line "AW challenge blog ACA winner/top 3/random winner (*select the award prize that applies to you)" with your list of LINKS (not the titles) to the digi/digis you wish to receive.

PLEASE NOTE:  Prizes not claimed within a two week period will be forfeited.

Hope to see you all back for our 71st challenge, hosted by the Stella Team, which goes live at 9:00 am EDT today.
